Honoring Our Friend, Israel Deltoro As we look back on the month of July, we'd first like to take a moment to remember a cherished member of the Garvey Hyundai family. Israel was a valued member of the Garvey Hyundai family whose kindness, positive attitude, and dedication left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He always greeted customers with a smile, went the extra mile to help others, and was a friend to everyone around him. Israel will be deeply missed, but his impact on our team, our customers, and our dealership will never be forgotten. We continue to keep his family, friends, and everyone who knew him in our thoughts. Test Drives, Trade-Ins & Tasty Bites with Bodizzles Earlier this month, we invited our community to stop by Garvey Hyundai for our Test-Drive & Appraisal Food Truck Event! Guests had the opportunity to explore their options, compare Hyundai against other top brands, get their vehicles appraised, and enjoy a delicious lunch from BoDizzles while they were here. Bodizzles brought their amazing food truck back to Garvey Hyundai after a successful visit earlier this year in April, and we were excited to have them join us again. Events like these are a great way for us to connect with our customers outside of the traditional car-buying experience and show our appreciation for everyone who visits our dealership. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, took a test drive, enjoyed a meal, and spent part of their day with the Garvey Hyundai team! A Special Thank You to 7 Brew Coffee July ended on a sweet note as our friends from 7 Brew Coffee stopped by Garvey Hyundai and treated our team to more than 100 complimentary drinks! It was a fun surprise that kept everyone energized throughout the day, and we truly appreciate their generosity and support. Thank you, 7 Brew Coffee, for making our team's day a little brighter—we loved having you visit and hope to see you again soon! Keeping You Road-Trip Ready Summer is one of the busiest travel seasons, and our Service Department has been here to help customers stay safe on the road with routine maintenance, inspections, tire services, and more. If you're planning late-summer adventures, now is a great time to make sure your vehicle is road-ready. Thank You to Our Customers July also brought many memorable delivery days as we helped customers drive home in their new Hyundai's. From first-time buyers to longtime members of the Garvey family, we're grateful for everyone who trusted us to help them find the perfect vehicle. From major regional awards to meaningful community involvement, it’s been a month that reflects exactly what we’re about—people first, always. 🏆 Regional Recognition for Allen Loomis We’re proud to share that Allen was officially named the #1 Sales Person in the Region as part of The Post-Star’s Best of the Region 2026 awards. This recognition highlights not just strong numbers, but consistency, customer care, and a commitment to making the car-buying experience simple and enjoyable. On top of that, Garvey Hyundai also earned “Favorite” honors in multiple categories—another reminder that our customers continue to put their trust in us year after year. 🐾 Giving Back: Rally for Paws Donation Community impact was a major highlight this month. We proudly donated $5,000 to Rally for Paws, an organization that brings automotive enthusiasts together through scenic drives, exciting events, and a shared mission to make a difference for animals in need. Even better, our Dealer Principal, Marc, participated in their Rally Drive, joining fellow supporters for a meaningful day on the road. It’s a perfect example of how a shared passion for cars can turn into real support for our local community and the causes that matter most. 🚗 A Busy Month of Deliveries June kept our sales team on their toes with lots of deliveries across the lineup. From first-time Hyundai drivers to loyal returning customers upgrading into something new, the lot stayed active all month long. Every delivery represents a story—and this month, there were plenty of celebrations, keys handed over, and new journeys starting right here at Garvey Hyundai. From community events and pet-friendly fun to big savings and giving back, we loved getting to connect with so many people throughout the month. Pet Fest Success One of the highlights of May was attending Pet Fest on May 17th! We had an amazing time meeting local pet lovers, handing out goodies, and talking with everyone who stopped by our booth. We were blown away by the turnout — over 140 people entered our raffle for a pet-themed prize basket! Congratulations again to our winner, Amanda from A&A Doggy Daycare! We’re so excited the basket is going to a fellow local business that cares so much about pets. Our Pet Fest Raffle winner - A&A Doggy Daycare! Throughout the event, we also gave away plenty of pet goodies and accessories, making it a fun day for both people and their furry friends. Stuff the Trunk Event Gives Back Allen Loomis with all donations from Stuff the Trunk. This month, we were proud to host a successful “Stuff the Trunk” donation event at our dealership. Our showroom Santa Fe quickly filled up with generous donations of dog and cat supplies from our amazing community. From food and treats to toys and other essentials, every donation will help support a local animal shelter and the pets in their care. Seeing the Santa Fe packed with supplies was a great reminder of how supportive this community is when it comes to helping animals in need. A-MAY-ZING Tent Event & Memorial Day Weekend Sale Israel Deltoro & customer, checking out a Certified Hyundai Tucson with Remote Smart Parking Assist. May also brought some incredible savings opportunities with our A-MAY-ZING Tent Event and Memorial Day Weekend Sale. Customers stopped by to shop special offers, explore our inventory, and take advantage of seasonal deals throughout the month. Whether guests were searching for a new Hyundai, upgrading their current vehicle, or visiting for service, we loved helping everyone find something that fit their needs. Pet Accessories on Sale All Month Long To continue the pet-friendly theme throughout May, our Parts department featured special pricing on select pet accessories during the month. From travel-friendly pet products to accessories designed to help keep your vehicle clean and organized, it was the perfect opportunity for pet owners to gear up for summer adventures with their four-legged passengers. Thank you to everyone who visited us, participated in our events, donated supplies, or stopped by to say hello this month. Guests had the chance to receive competitive offers for their current vehicles—no purchase necessary—while connecting with our team in a relaxed, welcoming setting. To make the event even more memorable, local favorite BoDizzlez Food Truck joined us on-site, serving up crowd-pleasing bites that kept everyone fueled while they explored their options. It was the perfect mix of value, community, and fun, and we’re grateful to everyone who came. It was a rewarding experience to step outside the dealership and work alongside the community, reinforcing our commitment to not just serving Glens Falls—but supporting it in meaningful ways.
